Green Energy: Seven Wind Power Plants Are Being Built in Ukraine.

Development of Wind Energy in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Wind Energy Association reported that in 2025, the country continues the construction of seven wind power projects. The total capacity of the projects ready for implementation is 4 GW.
In particular, the chairman of the association, Andrii Konechenkov, announced this during the conference 'Green Energy for Recovery'. The new facilities include the second phase of the Tyligulska Wind Power Plant, which is the largest project in Ukraine.
Konechenkov also emphasized that from February 2022 to the beginning of 2024, 4 wind power plants were built. In 2021, only 20 MW of commercial wind generation was installed.
However, the development of wind energy in the country is complicated by problems at the legislative level, in particular, debts in the electricity market and the lack of interested buyers of electricity for long periods.
