From 35 hryvnias per liter: Gas stations show the difference in prices for gasoline, diesel, and autogas in Kyiv and Lviv regions.


Prices for gasoline, diesel fuel, and automotive gas in Kyiv and Lviv regions differ, as evidenced by data from the Minfin portal shared by gas stations. The difference in fuel prices can significantly impact the budget of a trip, especially on long journeys.
As of April 28, 2025, the premium gasoline A-98 costs 52.00 UAH in Kyiv region, and 49.50 UAH in Lviv region, while gasoline A-95+ costs 57.24 UAH and 58.20 UAH respectively. Prices for regular A-95 and A-92 are almost identical at 53.47 UAH and 52.79 UAH in Kyiv region, and 53.99 UAH and 52.89 UAH in Lviv region.
The greatest price difference is noticeable for gasoline A-80, which can be purchased for 17.99 UAH in Kyiv region, and 30.25 UAH in Lviv region. The price for diesel fuel (DF) is approximately the same in both regions - 52.47 UAH in Kyiv and 52.49 UAH in Lviv. However, the price for improved diesel fuel (DF+) is higher in Kyiv - 57.50 UAH compared to 54.75 UAH in Lviv. Prices for automotive gas are also nearly identical - 34.97 UAH in Kyiv and 35.39 UAH in Lviv.
Drivers intending to travel between these regions are advised to take these differences into account and plan refuels in advance. For example, it is more profitable to refuel with premium gasoline A-98 in Lviv region, and gasoline A-80 in Kyiv. Preliminary research on fuel prices will help optimize expenses during the trip.
It should be noted that fuel prices are constantly changing, so it is recommended to check current data before traveling.
