Ukrainians were explained how much it costs to assign a cadastral number to land.

Assigning a cadastral number to a land plot is a mandatory procedure. This number allows for any actions with the land, such as sale or leasing.
Lawyer Artem Ripenko explained in a comment to 24 Channel that the cadastral number of a land plot is a unique sequence of digits and characters that is assigned to a land plot during its state registration and is retained throughout its existence.
'Cadastral numbers are assigned when the initial formation of land plots from state and communal land arrays occurs to individualize a certain part of the land surface, as well as in cases where individuals have 'old' documents for land plots, but information about such plots has not been entered into the State Land Cadastre (DLC),' the lawyer explained.
According to the lawyer, this operation, along with the entry of information about the land plot into the DLC, is important for formalizing rights to land plots, paying land fees, alienating buildings and structures, etc.
Artem Ripenko noted that formally, there is no fee for 'entering' data into the DLC and assigning a cadastral number (Article 41 of the Law 'On the State Land Cadastre'). However, information is entered only based on certain documentation regarding land management provided by the Law 'On Land Management'.
'The specific type of documentation (land management project or technical documentation of a certain type) depends on the circumstances under which the cadastral number is assigned, and the cost of such documentation, along with necessary geodetic surveys, can range from several thousand hryvnias to tens or even hundreds of thousands,' says the lawyer.
The final cost, according to him, will depend on the area of the plot, the region, other circumstances, as well as the chosen land surveyor or land surveying organization. For citizens, in the most common cases, this cost will range from 2 to 30 thousand hryvnias.
