Defense Giants Unite: Baykar and Leonardo Officially Launch Strategic Partnership.


The Turkish company Baykar and the Italian company Leonardo have entered into an agreement for strategic cooperation. This became known during the summit between Turkey and Italy, which took place in Rome.
The agreement aims to combine the technological capabilities of both companies in the high-tech sector. Baykar already has substantial experience in creating unmanned aerial vehicles, while Leonardo possesses expertise in mission management systems and aviation certification.
The main goal of the joint venture is to leverage opportunities in the European market for unmanned aerial vehicles. The agreement also covers various areas, including electronic systems, payloads, command, and reconnaissance.
Baykar and Leonardo plan to ensure the collaborative operation of the ecosystem and secure a strong position in the markets of Europe and the world. The joint venture will be located in various locations across Italy.
