Poisonous centipedes have awakened in Odesa region, which may attack people.

A dangerous situation occurred in the city of Pivdenne in the Odesa region, when an aggressive centipede attacked a woman. She noticed the creature on the sidewalk and tried to photograph it, but immediately the centipede jumped at her. The woman managed to jump back, and the creature continued to pursue her until it caught the attention of a car on the road.
The article notes that centipedes live in tropical and subtropical regions, but they can even be found in Ukraine's southern regions. Recently, their appearance has been observed in other parts of the country as well. In March this year, a large centipede was spotted in Dnipropetrovsk region. This indicates changes in the ecosystem related to global warming.
Centipede is a creature, not an insect. They are predatory venomous invertebrates from the class Myriapoda. They usually inhabit tropical and subtropical regions, and in Ukraine, they can be found in southern regions and Crimea. Centipedes hunt at night and feed on small invertebrates, while larger species may attack frogs, lizards, and birds. Centipede bites are very painful, and the venom of some species can even cause death. Therefore, it is better to avoid encounters with them.
In addition to centipedes, Ukrainian landscapes have become home to venomous spiders that affect the human nervous system. The venom of these spiders can pose a danger to people, especially for those who are allergic. If you encounter such spiders, it is better to keep your distance.
Also, a new species of the most venomous spider in the world has recently been discovered - the Sydney funnel-web spider, also known as 'The Big Guy.' This species impresses with its large size and sharp fangs.
