The speed of movement of the Russian army in Selydove, Donetsk region, is not very high, but the threatening situation is gradually developing. This was reported by military expert Vladyslav Seleznev.
He noted that the Russian occupiers control the eastern part of Selydove.
"In the south of this settlement, as well as in the central high-rise buildings, fighting is already taking place. The Ukrainian army controls part of the northern and central Selydove. The situation is extremely threatening. The greatest threat to our garrison in Selydove is not in the directed assault on enemy positions, but in the encirclement of our garrison. Such a threat exists,"- emphasized Seleznev.
The expert reported that all routes to Selydove are under the fire control of the Russian army.
"Therefore, it is very difficult to evacuate the wounded, deliver resources for our soldiers located in Selydove. If these trends continue, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will most likely switch to maneuverable defense. When the threat increases, the choice becomes obvious: what is more important - the territory or the life and health of our soldiers. The situation there is very difficult,"- noted Seleznev.
The expert added that the Russian occupiers actively use all their forces and means, including aviation and artillery, to attack Ukrainian servicemen.
