Released from captivity, mother and son met on the bus. A touching story of the Vynograd family.

On April 19, during a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, a meeting took place between a mother and son who had not seen each other for a long Time. This happened on a bus where released prisoners were present. Ruslan Vynograd, who had been in captivity since May 2022, met his mother Margarita, who was also a captive. At first, he thought she had already been exchanged and wrote her letters. The meeting was very emotional, and the mother repeatedly spoke about how long she had waited for this moment. Now they are together again and can share the joy of regaining their freedom.
Ukraine has already released 277 Ukrainian warriors who were in captivity. Among them are Defenders from the Mariupol garrison, National Guardsmen, military sailors, TRO fighters, the State Special Transport Service, airborne assault troops, and drone system forces. Many of them are young people who ended up there at the very beginning of the war. The release was accompanied by loud cheers of 'Glory to Ukraine!' and 'Ukraine above all!'. After the exchange, many warriors called their relatives and expressed their love and longing.
