Changes in benefits: what to expect for combatants in 2025.

Combatants will be able to receive a discount on car insurance
Starting from January 1, 2025, combatants will be required to obtain car liability insurance. This decision was made by the Chernivtsi Regional TCC and SP in accordance with the Law of Ukraine 'On Mandatory Insurance of Civil Liability of Owners of Ground Transport Vehicles', as reported by Comments.
The law has changed Article 13, thereby eliminating the category of citizens who are exempt from mandatory insurance.
'However, a discount is provided for combatants - the amount of the insurance premium under the internal insurance contract is reduced by 50%,' TCC emphasized.
The discount is granted for vehicles with a working engine capacity of up to 2500 cm³ or an electric motor power of up to 100 kW, owned by the combatant. At the same Time, such a vehicle must be driven solely by the policyholder or a person who also belongs to the privileged categories, and is used free of charge without providing paid transport services for passengers or cargo.
TCC also notes that the reduction of the insurance premium can only be applied to one of the policyholder's vehicles at a time.
