The authorities ask residents of one of the regions to prepare for a prolonged power outage.

On the eve of the Constitution Day, there was an attack on an energy facility in Kherson Oblast, carried out by Russians, which led to electricity supply issues in the region. The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, emphasized the need for residents to be prepared for possible power outages.
«Residents of the region should be ready for prolonged power outages», it was noted in the message.
The authorities call on citizens to be prepared for a lack of electricity, but energy workers are taking measures to quickly restore system stability.
The situation with energy supply in Ukraine
Experts note that this summer, electricity outages may occur in Ukraine, but currently, the state of the energy system is better than last year. It is also worth mentioning that this year there have been no events that would have such a significant impact on the energy system as in the past, and damaged facilities have been restored.
Thus, the attack on the energy facility in Kherson Oblast before Constitution Day caused problems with electricity supply in the region, but the situation in other areas of Ukraine is gradually improving, and mass outages, as in the previous year, are not observed.
