Death of 13 people due to the Russian airstrike on Zaporizhzhia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that 13 people were killed as a result of the airstrike carried out by Russia on Zaporizhzhia. According to him, the number of casualties may increase.
'A deliberate strike on the city', - this is how the president described the attack, which resulted in dozens of injuries. All the injured are receiving the necessary assistance.
Earlier, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military-Civil Administration Ivan Fedorov reported about 30 wounded who were taken to the hospital. At the scene, seven medical teams, police, and rescuers are working.
During the last day, Russian troops carried out 426 strikes on 12 localities in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, including airstrikes on Pyatykhatky and Mala Tokmachka.
Zelensky expressed the need to increase pressure on Russia due to the terror against the civilian population, adding that 'ending such a war with reliable peace is only possible through strength.'
