Drivers were shown the most economical crossovers: where fuel consumption is the lowest.

According to car experts from Great Britain, crossovers are the most practical and versatile passenger vehicles, popular in many countries around the world. However, unfortunately, they also have high fuel consumption compared to smaller car models.
What Car?, a British automotive expert, conducted research on the most economical crossovers of today. According to the study results, these models stand out with low fuel consumption, which will surprise many drivers looking to save, reports UNIAN.
Experts claim that the factory data on fuel consumption provided by manufacturers often do not correspond to actual consumption. Therefore, they conduct their own tests to establish accurate indicators.
Experiments are carried out in special laboratory conditions that simulate a realistic driving route, including urban, rural roads, and highways. Before testing, each vehicle is measured, and the tires are inflated to the recommended level. The temperature in the vehicle is set to 21 degrees Celsius or the average air conditioner setting, and all electrical devices are turned off.
