Power outages may return soon: an urgent statement was made by the Ministry of Energy.

Next week in Ukraine, power outage schedules may return due to hot weather. The Ministry of Energy has appealed to the citizens with a request.
Deputy Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk reported that next week an increase in consumption is expected due to hot weather in most regions of Ukraine. This concerns both the population and business.
"Indeed, we expect an increase in consumption next week. We expect that the weather will be quite hot almost throughout Ukraine, and this will undoubtedly lead to an increase in consumption by both household consumers and businesses," Hrynchuk said.
She noted that today there will be no electricity restrictions, but starting tomorrow "Ukrenergo" will work according to the consumption situation.
"If we manage to cover the consumption independently through imports and emergency assistance, the outage schedules will not be applied. But if this fails, it is possible that outage schedules will be introduced next week to balance the system," Hrynchuk explained.
Hrynchuk also urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly during peak hours - morning and evening.
Let us recall, the Ministry of Energy also reported the restoration of electricity generation before the heating season.
