The United Kingdom and France Agree on a Military Aid Strategy for Ukraine.


The top military leaders of the United Kingdom and France held a strategic meeting in London dedicated to supporting Ukraine and strengthening European security.
This was reported by the UK government.
During the meeting, the heads of the general staffs, armies, navies, and air forces of both countries discussed joint efforts to support Ukraine.
Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, head of the UK Joint Staff, emphasized the importance of this meeting: 'Today's discussions will help shape the future of British-French military cooperation, as well as our joint efforts to support Ukraine with military aid now and after a peace agreement is reached.'
The military leaders focused on enhancing the European response to the current situation in Ukraine and expanding defense partnerships between countries. Special attention was paid to planning military support for Ukraine and discussing prospects for post-war settlement.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of previous diplomatic efforts by the 'coalition of the willing', which has been working over the past weeks to formulate a strategy to support Ukraine. Earlier in March, several meetings took place in different formats, including on March 15, military leaders discussed plans for the introduction of international forces.
Radakin also emphasized the ambitions of the two leading nuclear powers in Europe to enhance cooperation and build a stronger partnership.
