Ukraine will be hit by atmospheric fronts with snow, wind, and icy conditions: Didenko talked about the weather at the beginning of the week.


At the beginning of the week, cold weather with frosts and snow is expected in Ukraine, reports meteorologist Natalia Didenko.
According to her forecast, on Monday night the temperature will drop to 0-4 degrees below zero, while during the day it will range from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero.
'Due to the activity of atmospheric fronts, small snow is expected in most regions on February 3 - those who wanted it, have waited. In the southern part of Ukraine and in the southeast, the snow and wet snow will be moderate, with possible wet snow sticking, complicating the situation on the roads, be careful! With higher air temperatures - rain', - warned Didenko.
She also noted that in some areas in the south of Ukraine, precipitation will be heavy, and in Crimea, significant rain is expected during the day.
The wind will mainly be northwest with moderate strength, but gusts of 15-20 meters per second are possible in the western regions.
In Kyiv, it will also be cool with a minimum temperature at night of -1 to -3 degrees and a maximum around zero. Small snow and icy conditions are also expected.
Overall, this week in Ukraine further cooling is anticipated, with a maximum daytime temperature of 3 degrees below zero and a minimum at night ranging from -3 to -8 degrees.
