Ukrainian courts reviewed over 300 cases regarding the cancellation of TCC fines: which decisions are more common.

Ukrainian courts reviewed over 300 cases regarding the cancellation of new fines from territorial recruitment centers (TCC) for violating military registration rules.
According to the data from the court register search engine "Babushka", from June to October 2024, 314 such cases were reviewed. The number of court appeals on this issue is increasing monthly. If only 10 cases were reviewed in June, the number reached 148 in September. Since the beginning of October, 34 cases have already been reviewed.
Analysis shows that in most cases, the courts side with the citizens and cancel the fines. The main reasons for canceling the fines are:
- non-compliance by TCC with the fine imposition procedure,
- lack of convincing evidence of violations by citizens,
- imposition of fines for a period when the new norms had not yet come into effect.
Despite this, since the beginning of the year, almost 12 thousand fines for violating military registration have been submitted for compulsory execution. Citizens can check the presence of TCC fines submitted for enforcement through the Opentadabot service.
