British Intelligence Reveals How Russia Recruits Foreign Mercenaries for War Against Ukraine.

Russia is recruiting foreigners for military action against Ukraine
From April 2023 to May 2024, Russia recruited over 1,500 foreigners in Moscow for military actions against Ukraine. According to the British Ministry of Defence, Russia employs this strategy to compensate for significant battlefield losses.
The majority of the recruited volunteers come from South and East Asian countries (771 individuals), former Soviet republics (523 individuals), and African countries (72 individuals).
Analysts in Britain indicate that the recruitment of foreigners in Russia lacks systematic organization. Many volunteers agree to contracts due to financial incentives and future benefits, such as obtaining Russian citizenship. The report also notes that foreign nationals make up only a small fraction of the total number of recruits in the Russian armed forces, as the primary focus is on domestic recruitment.
It is also noted that Russia is likely to continue recruiting foreigners in the future. This is part of Russia's military recruitment strategy aimed at compensating for significant losses without declaring a second wave of mobilization.
Thus, Russia is actively utilizing foreigners in its army to fight against Ukraine. According to the report by the British Ministry of Defence, this indicates serious efforts by Russia to replenish its ranks and compensate for losses.
