Russian public pages threw a tantrum over the "breakthrough" of the border in the Kursk region.

Russian resources are spreading information about the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the border in the Kursk region
On August 6, 2024, Russian information resources began to disseminate information about the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the border in the Kursk region of Russia. Information about the attacks comes from the Sudzhansky and Korenovsky districts.
This was reported with reference to publications in Russian public pages, as reported by "Khvilya".
The governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, stated that the FSB border service did not allow the border breakthrough. However, some Russian sources claim that a small group of Ukrainian military allegedly crossed the border by several hundred meters.
Despite the fact that the governor of the Kursk region stated that there was no breakthrough and everything was destroyed, as of 13:10 Kyiv Time, reports of battles in this region of the Russian Federation continue to appear in Russian information resources:
At the same time, residents of the Kursk region report explosions in the city of Sudzha. Local authorities report downed drones, while residents talk about missile strikes and damage to residential buildings. It is also reported that the explosions occurred in Kursk itself and in several other districts of the region, which also took place on August 6.
It is worth noting that on the same day, information was received about an explosion at the Avangard military plant in the city of Sterlitamak in Bashkortostan, which fulfills orders for the Russian Ministry of Defense and is under Western sanctions.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine disclosed details of the "bavovna" at the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region on August 3, 2024.
