Russians are intensifying combat activity in the Vovchansk direction and in the Sumy region.

Russian troops are increasing the intensity of combat operations
Russian troops occupying Ukrainian territory are ramping up combat operations in the Vovchansk direction and in the Sumy region. This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to him, the enemy is actively operating in the areas of the settlements of Basivka and Zhuravka. The most intense battles are taking place in the Vovchansk direction and near the Sumy region. In addition, assault actions are ongoing in the Kupiansk direction.
'Despite significant losses, the Russian command continues to throw its troops into so-called 'meat assaults,' disregarding human lives,' emphasized spokesperson Demchenko.
Besides the specified directions, the enemy is trying to increase activity in other sections of the border. They are using tactics of small assault groups, shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders to accumulate forces for expanding the zone of combat operations.
Demchenko also indicated that Russian occupiers are actively using drones, FPV drones, and aviation, especially in the Sumy direction. Incidents of subversive activities continue in the Sumy region and adjacent areas.
Ukrainian military personnel continue to defend the country's borders and maintain their positions amid aggression, despite significant losses and a constant state of tension.
