Russians Attempt to Encircle Selydove: National Guard Outlines the Situation in the City.


The Russians are attempting to completely encircle Selydove, while the Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting powerful measures to restrain the enemy.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the 15th Operational Brigade of the National Guard "Kara-Dag," Vitaliy Mylovydov, during a television marathon. He noted that for almost a week now, Russian troops have been conducting a large-scale offensive operation against the city of Selydove with the aim of fully capturing the settlement. The occupiers have also intensified actions towards the nearby Vyshneve.
“For a week now, the Defense Forces have been conducting powerful measures to restrain the enemy. The enemy has partially managed to secure positions in certain areas of the city of Selydove, but more active operations are currently happening towards the settlement of Vyshneve. This is south of Selydove, where the enemy has thrown all their forces and means to create a complete encirclement of the city of Selydove“, – Mylovydov said.
The spokesperson emphasized that combat operations and measures to restrain the enemy are ongoing.
“Units are implementing measures, they are present in the settlement conducting defense operations, taking all actions to prevent securing and preventing the enemy both in Selydove and in Vyshneve, which is very important from a logistical standpoint“, – the military noted.
Recall, in Selydove the occupiers shot peaceful residents.
Also, Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Deputy Commander of the Third Assault Brigade Maksym Zhorin stated that preparing the Dnipropetrovsk region for defense is needed today.
