Supplies of weapons from North Korea to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine have attracted the attention of a joint project by OBOZ.UA and the 'Information Resistance' group. In particular, Russian propagandists are actively showcasing new models of North Korean weapons, including self-propelled artillery units, mortars, and missile systems. Among the new introductions are 60-mm and 140-mm mortars, a 107-mm missile system, and 240-mm rocket launchers.
'The Korean People's Army has delivered weapons to Russia that make Russian troops dependent on ammunition not available in Russia. This increases dependence on supplies from North Korea.'

According to intelligence, 170-mm and 240-mm rocket launchers are rarely used, unlike mortars. In particular, the 60-mm mortars, copied from the Chinese model, have proven to be very effective in combat conditions.
