Pensioners will receive up to 1500 hryvnias: who will be left without an increase.

Pension indexation: details and who it applies to
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, starting from March 1, 2025, pensions will increase by 11.5%. This amount exceeds the forecasts of the Ministry of Social Policy. The adjustment of the pension increase coefficient became necessary due to the rise in average salaries and inflation. In total, over 10 million citizens will receive increased pensions under this resolution, including military pensioners, Chernobyl clean-up workers, and war veterans. The average pension will rise by 556 hryvnias, reaching 6345 hryvnias.
However, it is important to note that the maximum amount of indexation is capped at 1500 hryvnias, while the minimum increase is 100 hryvnias. It is also significant to consider that indexation does not apply to individuals who retired after January 1, 2025, as well as to citizens who have been receiving a pension for less than three years. In general, indexation applies to both working and non-working pensioners.
