Ombudsman Lubynec 'noticed' mass violations of Ukrainians' rights by the TCC.

The number of violations of citizens' rights during mobilization activities is increasing in Ukraine, reported the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubynec. Recently, over 40 appeals regarding violations of citizens' rights in the Kharkiv region have been received by the ombudsman's office.
'Recently, at least 3 videos have been posted in the media showing cyclists being hit by cars, and then people in uniforms using force to put these cyclists into vehicles,' noted Lubynec.
Among the typical violations, the ombudsman highlighted the denial of access to lawyers, the use of forceful measures, and the refusal to accept documents. Dmytro Lubynec stated that his office responds to each such case to ensure compliance with human rights.
In 2025, the situation regarding violations of citizens' rights has worsened - the number of appeals and media reports about violations continues to rise, and the nature of incidents is becoming increasingly serious.
We also remind that drivers have started being stopped at checkpoints under new rules.
