The hryvnia is once again losing its position against the US dollar
The National Bank of Ukraine reported that the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the US dollar on January 6 is 42.08 hryvnias. This figure exceeds the previous record set on December 31, 2024, by 5 kopecks.
Similarly, the euro exchange rate for this day will be 43.33 hryvnias, which is 4 kopecks less than January 3 and 59 kopecks less than December 31.
According to analysts from 'Minfin', there is an increase in the exchange rate in the currency market after lunch due to increased demand for currency. Some transactions are made at a rate of 42.16 hryvnias per dollar.
Finally, the National Bank adjusted the official exchange rate of the hryvnia on December 31, setting it at 42.0390 UAH/USD, which is 10 kopecks lower than the previous value.
