This simple dish made of zucchini and chicken breast is prepared in just 20 minutes, yet it tastes like a full-fledged homemade dinner. Thanks to the creamy sauce and herbs, it turns out especially fragrant and hearty - just what you need after a busy day.

You will need:

• zucchini - 1 piece (approximately 500 g);
• chicken breast - 500 g;
• sour cream or cream - 200 ml;
• oil - 2-3 tbsp;
• salt - 1 tsp or to taste;
• black ground pepper - to taste;
• turmeric - a pinch (optional);
• dill - a few sprigs;
• garlic - optional.

Cooking method

Cut the zucchini into cubes and sauté over high heat with oil, stirring constantly. When the vegetable becomes soft and slightly browned, add the chicken breast cubes.

Fry everything together until the meat turns white and browns but remains juicy. Season with pepper, add sour cream or cream, add salt, and if desired, a bit of turmeric.

Lower the heat to a minimum, cover with a lid, and simmer for 10 minutes. At the end, add chopped dill and (if desired) garlic. Stir, let the dish rest for a few minutes, and serve.
