Mobilization in Crimea - How local officers are meeting the plan.

Recruitment to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
In annexed Crimea, police have received a new task as part of the recruitment of contract soldiers into the Russian army for the war. Now they record all offenses of former prisoners and anti-social elements, and in case of violations, they send them to pre-trial detention centers. In prison, they are forced to sign a contract and join the stormtroopers.
My source in the police reports that now local officers need to draw up protocols for every, even minor, offense of these citizens in order to have enough evidence for a criminal case. Then they are sent to prison, where they are 'convinced' to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as stormtroopers in the war against Ukraine.
A human rights activist emphasized that in this group of mobilized individuals, cases of desertion often occur. Announcements about their search are posted all over Crimea, but it is not disclosed that this is a deserter who fled from military duty.
Let us remind you, we recently wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit another Russian ship. Also that Russia is preparing to repel a possible attack on the peninsula.
In Crimea, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation forces former prisoners and anti-social elements to go to war, but many of them desert the front. The police detect violations of these individuals, send them to prison, and force them to become contract soldiers. Such actions lead to cases of desertion among those recruited.Read also
