On March 29, 2025, 25-year-old warrior Georgiy Denysov-Tovt from Lviv was killed while defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. This was reported by 'Hromadske' referencing the Lviv City Council.
Georgiy Denysov-Tovt was born on November 20, 1999, in Lviv. He studied at Lyceum No. 45 of the Lviv City Council and received higher education at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Recently, Georgiy worked in the restaurant sector of Lviv. He was a fan of FC 'Liverpool' and was passionate about music, history, and reading.
Georgiy Denysov-Tovt dreamed of returning to Ivan Franko National University of Lviv to study political science and sociology.
After the start of the Russian invasion, Georgiy Denysov-Tovt joined the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the Operational Command 'West' of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his homeland from Russian invaders.
On March 29, 2025, Georgiy Denysov-Tovt died as a hero of Ukraine. He was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.
Georgiy Denysov-Tovt was left without parents and a younger sister.
