Rafael Nadal is second in the number of Grand Slam titles won in men's tennis, having become the champion in 22 competitions. The leader is Novak Djokovic (24).
Nadal has 92 titles in ATP tournaments, 63 of which he won on clay courts. He also has a record 14 victories at the French Open.
The tennis player is an Olympic champion, having won gold in the singles event at the 2008 Games.
This season, Nadal played 11 matches in ATP tournaments, with his best result reaching the quarter-finals in Brisbane.
Recall that Rafael Nadal could not participate in this year's Wimbledon tournament due to an injury, and his opponent in the final was Nick Kyrgios, who won without a fight.
