From Zaporizhzhia to Kyiv by helicopter. The Intelligence Agency and the Security Service saved a sick child.

An 11-year-old girl from Zaporizhzhia, whose lungs failed, received assistance from the staff of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service. The child was transported by helicopter to Kyiv, to the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
The girl fell ill with the flu, which led to complications. Parents contacted the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, but the child's condition deteriorated rapidly. Her condition caused severe respiratory distress syndrome, wherein the blood oxygen level drops significantly while the carbon dioxide level rises. Doctors used an 'external lung' as a prosthesis in such situations.
The Zaporizhzhia doctors made the decision to transfer the child to the Kyiv hospital 'Okhmatdyt'. Normally, they would use a medical plane, but given the military situation, that option was impossible.
Therefore, the doctors contacted the Special Operations Center 'A' of the Security Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Health, which quickly provided a specially equipped helicopter. The child was connected to the 'external lung' at the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital. She is now conscious and can breathe independently, and the doctors expect that soon they will be able to completely disconnect her from artificial support.
Unique operation in Kyiv
Previously, a unique microsurgical operation was carried out at the 'Feofaniya' hospital in Kyiv, which allowed a wounded soldier to save his leg. Also, in Lviv, a surgery was performed to remove a brain tumor, and the patient was conscious.
