After the completion of the winter 'eSupport' program, an audit of the provided assistance will be conducted, especially for those who applied for it from abroad, said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. He noted that, although cases of abuse may be minimal, such cases will still be detected.
While the number of individuals who might misuse this opportunity is likely to be minimal, such cases will still be detected.
According to Shmyhal, people who illegally receive assistance will be required to return the funds, as in previous cases. He urged citizens not to abuse the program.
Shmyhal also clarified that the program is exclusively for those who are on the territory of Ukraine. Applicants first confirm their presence in the country declaratively, after which verification takes place through registers, geolocation, and other technologies.
