Czech Republic initiates a new ammunition supply program for Ukraine.

The Czech Republic has launched a new ammunition supply program for Ukraine and is seeking support from other European Union countries.
This was announced by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, according to N-TV.
According to Lipavsky, after the successful procurement of artillery ammunition in 2024, Prague has begun consulting with partners about the new initiative.
'This is a matter of political will, and if many EU member states join our initiative again, we can achieve a lot for Ukraine,' emphasized the Czech minister.
Currently, the Czech side is considering financing options for the new project. 'And then we will see how many shells we can obtain for this money,' said Lipavsky.
The previous initiative of the Czech Republic could provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with between 50,000 and 100,000 large-caliber shells monthly. According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, by mid-January, Ukraine had already received 80% of the promised ammunition under this program.
