Ukrainian drones attacked an oil refinery station in Volgograd region
Governor of Volgograd region Andrei Bocharov reported that the Russians complained about the attack on the oil refinery station at night.
The attack reportedly did not cause any damage or fire.
«Last night, on February 8, an attack by drones occurred on the oil refinery station in Kumylzhensky district in Volgograd region. Thanks to the actions of the regional fire service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there was no fire,» they said in Russia.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense suggested that Russian air defense shot down 36 Ukrainian drones during the night.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense:
- 18 drones were shot down in Rostov region;
- 11 - in Volgograd region;
- 5 - in Belgorod region;
- 2 - over Krasnodar region.
As a result of debris from the drones falling, buildings were damaged in Rostov-on-Don, including residential and administrative ones.
The war has been going on for 1081 days.
