Amazon starts a competition with Starlink? The company launched its first internet satellites into space.

SpaceX made a historic launch of the Fram2 mission on April 1, sending the Crew Dragon capsule with four pilots on a unique orbital route. This mission will be the first to carry humans into an orbit around the North and South Poles. The flight participants included a cryptocurrency billionaire and three selected guests. This is the first commercial flight of its kind in history, marking a new era in space tourism.
The rollout of Amazon's Kuiper space internet network, which will compete with SpaceX's Starlink, began with the launch of the first 27 satellites in the USA. Amazon plans to send 3,236 satellites into non-Earth orbit as part of the $10 billion Kuiper project. This service will provide broadband internet worldwide for consumers, businesses, and governments. The deployment of this network is a challenge for global telecommunications providers such as AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as for SpaceX.
The batch of 27 Kuiper satellites was launched into space on the Atlas V rocket. ULA may launch another five Kuiper missions this year. It is expected that Amazon will start providing services to customers this year.
The Kuiper project of the web services and e-commerce giant Amazon is a competitor to SpaceX. The company has experience in consumer products and cloud computing business, which gives it an advantage over Starlink.
For his part, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced plans to produce 5,000 Optimus robots by the end of 2025. He noted that the size and experience of such a number of robots is comparable to that of a Roman legion.
These are the most significant events in the space and technology sectors in recent days. The development of space missions and information technologies is moving forward, multiplying the capabilities of humanity.
