Egg Crisis in the USA: Americans Have Come Up with Unconventional Ways to Celebrate Easter.

In the USA, the price of eggs has skyrocketed ahead of Easter due to the spread of bird flu. People have started looking for substitutes such as marshmallows, potatoes, onions, or peanut butter. A farm in Ohio, which has held an Easter egg hunt for 40 years, has decided, for the first Time in four decades, to make eggs out of plastic with a coupon for free rides at a local amusement park.
A food blogger has created her own recipe for chocolate eggs to replace traditional ones. She uses peanut butter, almond flour, and maple syrup, coats the mixture in white chocolate, and colors them with blue spirulina powder and matcha.
The price of eggs is still relatively affordable for many Americans, and they continue to dye them for Easter. Many people want to preserve this tradition, reminding themselves of joyful childhood events. Therefore, the demand for egg dyeing kits is increasing.
However, rising prices and the egg shortage are also forcing people to seek alternative products. The farm has decided to donate the money they would typically spend on buying eggs to two local food banks to support local supplies.
Bird flu and other economic issues are leading to an increased interest in alternative products instead of eggs for Easter in the USA.
