On Saturday, July 19, late in the evening, a prosecutor's employee in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv hit a woman in a pedestrian zone and fled the scene. The offender has already been detained by law enforcement. This was reported by the Attorney General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, on Facebook.According to the Attorney General, in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, a prosecutor’s employee hit a woman in a pedestrian zone on Velyka Vasylkivska Street. The driver of the car, violating all norms of law and morality, hit the woman and fled the scene. But he has now been detained. It turned out that the driver was Andrii Andriivich Molochnyi, the chief specialist of the department. He is a civil servant, not a prosecutor, but an employee of the prosecutor's office. Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he is taking this case under his own control.
This is shocking. I emphasize again: belonging to the prosecutor's office is not an indulgence; it is responsibility. I take this case under control. And, as Attorney General, I will represent the interests of the victim in court. Such behavior is a disgrace to the entire system. It must be severely punished. And I promise that it will be. The law and justice are the same for everyone. The victim is provided with all necessary medical assistance.
